Lisa Ward, Attorney
Ms. Ward grew up in Colorado, graduating from high school in Grand Junction, CO. She graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles, with a degree in Philosophy.

After graduating from UCLA, she earned a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center.

Ms. Ward worked as a prosecutor prior to joining a family law practice with David Greenberg.

Ms. Ward has owned and operated her own family law firm since 2003 and has experience in both family law and civil law. Ms. Ward has experience handling many complex divorce and child custody cases.

Don Lawrence

Don joined the firm in 2012 after practicing for 30+ years in the Denver area. He was a shareholder in the Denver firm of Tilly & Graves, P.C., for 18 years when that firm existed and was a sole practitioner for 10 years. He graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law and served as a law clerk to the Hon. Alfred A. Arraj of the U.S. District Court in Denver after graduation.

Don’s experience before joining our firm was largely in complex personal injury, product liability, construction and commercial litigation and appeals and he handles civil litigation of all types. Don was divorced when his daughter was only 4 years old, so he has personally experienced the complex emotions that can be so overwhelming for our divorce and child custody clients, and that experience led him into the practice of family law.

Brian Imel

Mr. Imel grew up in Woodbridge, Virginia. He graduated from George Mason University, in Fairfax, Virginia, with a degree in Interpersonal Communication. After graduating college he worked for five years with United Airlines before deciding to pursue his dream of becoming a lawyer. Mr. Imel received his law degree from the University of Denver in 2007. He worked as a prosecutor for eight years before coming to our firm. As a prosecutor, Mr. Imel specialized in prosecuting acts of Domestic Violence. He brings that knowledge and expertise into the practice of family law, as well as extensive trial experience.
